NITA's National Education Center

Welcome to the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s National Education Center, a 26,500 square foot facility located on two floors.

This facility can cost-effectively host a variety of functions, including:

Multi-office law firm retreats
Collaborative meetings or training programs, bringing together corporate and outside counsel
Training programs jointly offered by NITA and other professional organizations
Training program or meetings conducted independent of NITA

This facility is dedicated to support advocacy skills training and designed to provide the best educational configuration. The NEC provides:

Main courtroom, with capacity for 150 participants
Three large courtrooms for 35 participants
Nine breakout courtrooms for 15 participants
Fourteen conference rooms for depositions, mediations, counsel/witness preparation, and video review
Commons area for meals, breaks, and formal/informal gatherings for up 150 people
Ample parking

Convenient Location

NITA’s NITA Education Center is located in scenic Louisville, Colorado in the Denver-Boulder metropolitan area. This self-contained teaching facility is within walking distance of six hotels, numerous restaurants and shops, a short drive to local ski resorts, golf, and a variety of other recreational activities.

State-of-the-Art Technology

All of the courtrooms include complete audio/visual systems with:

ceiling mounted 2400 ANSI lumen LCD projectors and screens
full connectivity for laptops
Digital camcorders
VCR, DVD, document cameras, and audio devices
access to one of four digital evidence cameras

Audio output from projectors feed an amplifier and speakers located throughout the rooms for equal sound dispersion. Each courtroom contains a digital camcorder that burns captured video directly onto DVD.

The main courtroom features:

A wireless microphone system, including digital sound processor to minimize feedback; audio from computer, VCR, and DVD is sent through the processor to allow for individuals to talk over presentations.
Rack mounted VCR/DVD system for playback of VHS or DVD sources connects directly to the LCD projector and eight speakersound system
2 ceiling mounted 3200 ANSI lumen LCD projectors and screens

Fourteen Conference Rooms

Each conference room contains a VCR/DVD review station.

Secure Wireless Network

Wireless access points provide high speed internet access for all of the courtrooms and conference rooms. To connect to the wireless network with your own laptop, you need to have a wireless network card. Depending on your computer, this might be built-in or a PCMCIA card that you need to purchase separately.
