Since its inception in 2003, the NITA foundation has provided $1.5M in scholarships and programs in support of NITA's mission. The public service programs build on five areas in which NITA has been active over the last decade: legal services, death penalty defense, tribal justice, child advocacy, and domestic violence; scholarship recipients include lawyers working on international social justice and poverty issues. These are public service lawyers who may not otherwise be able to attend NITA's advocacy training without donor contributions.

This fund is for anyone – alumni, faculty, supporters – to donate in support of scholarships for tuition to NITA programs.
Public Service Lawyer Travel Fund
This fund provides travel cost assistance to lawyers working in the public service sector and who cannot afford to pay those costs out of pocket and/or whose employers lack such funds.
